Rossmann HQ – Inspiring Spaces, Efficient Performance

The new logistics and headquarters complex of Rossmann Hungary in Üllő marks an important milestone in the company’s growth. Covering a total of 32,000 square metres—including a 28,000-square-metre logistics centre and a 4,000-square-metre office building—the development was designed to support operational efficiency, future expansion, and an enhanced workplace experience. The interior concept consistently reflects the Rossmann brand identity, extending from the reception area through the open office spaces, executive offices, meeting rooms, and communal areas to the rooftop terrace.

For the project, Basic Collection supplied many of the key furniture solutions for both the office and communal spaces. Ergonomic workstations, meeting tables, phone booths, functional storage systems, as well as the furniture for the cafeteria, kitchenettes, and lounge areas were selected as part of a cohesive design concept. Each furniture solution was chosen to support efficient workflows, collaboration, and everyday comfort while contributing to a visually consistent workplace environment.

Every detail of the project is built on the balance between functionality and aesthetics. Carefully coordinated furniture selections not only support the different ways people work but also create a cohesive visual identity throughout the office. Each space serves its own purpose while contributing to a unified and inspiring workplace environment.

One of the project's greatest strengths lies in the thoughtful integration of its different functional zones. Focus work areas, informal meeting points, the spacious cafeteria, and relaxation spaces work together to create a flexible workplace that adapts to a wide range of daily activities. A restrained material palette is complemented by Rossmann’s signature red accents, subtly reinforcing the company’s identity while creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere.

The result is a contemporary, high-quality workplace where furniture serves not only a functional purpose but also actively contributes to the overall performance and usability of the office. The project demonstrates how carefully selected furnishing solutions can support a workplace that remains adaptable to both the company’s continued growth and the evolving needs of its employees.
