Today, sustainability is present in many areas, and furniture design, interior and exterior design are no exception. At Basic Collection, we also believe it is important to create spaces indoors and outdoors where the quality of the products ensures that they do not need to be replaced every couple of years, thus not only saving the customer money but also reducing the environmental impact.
More and more of our manufacturers are making their furniture from recycled and/or recyclable materials. Here are some of our eco-friendly outdoor furniture products.
Africa Revolution / Vondom
Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, Africa Revolution chairs are made from 100% recycled plastics collected from the Mediterranean Sea. Vondom is committed to sustainability, but without forgetting what makes these chairs so special. A collection that is practical yet elegant and serene, just like the Mediterranean from which the inspiration comes.
GOBI / Tribú
The beauty of the Gobi basket is an outstanding example of Belgian expertise and craftsmanship. Each piece is made by skilled artisans using traditional weaving techniques. The ropes are made from recycled plastic bottles with an outer layer of recycled acrylic. The result is a unique product every time, with slight variations in colour and shape.
